Full name

Sara Farber

Brooklyn, NY

I've spent the past eighteen years developing toys, games, and new IPs.

I currently write for several kids podcasts for Pinna, and recently wrote for two new TV series: Butterbean's Cafe (Nick Jr.), and Charlie's Colorforms City (9 Story/Netflix). Previously, I wrote and produced the comedic YouTube series, What’s Going On?!, for Toca Boca.

My former positions include Director of Content Design at Fisher-Price, Manager of Global Product Development at VTech, and Interactive Producer at Sesame Workshop. I've also collaborated with Hasbro, Spin Master, WowWee, and Gund to create play patterns, characters, and stories. Over the span of my career I've developed content for hundreds of fun things to play with, including: robots, mechanized plush, interactive learning toys, apps, and board games. I've written dialogue and song lyrics for over forty popular kids brands, from Dora the Explorer to Mickey Mouse to SpongeBob SquarePants.

In 2010, I founded an indie game company with my husband called Galactic Sneeze. We're the creators and publishers of Schmovie: The Hilarious Game of Made-Up Movies, and Spank the Yeti: The Party Game of Questionable Decisions. Our first expansion, The Geek Pack, recently hit the shelves. All three of our products are now available throughout the US and Canada.

I live in Brooklyn with my husband, daughter, and dog.
