Sara Farber has spent the past eighteen years developing toys, games, and new IPs. She's currently writing episodes for a new kids TV series from Out of the Blue. Most recently, she wrote and produced a machinima-based comedic series called “What’s Going On?!” for Toca Boca. She's served as Director of Content Design at Fisher-Price/Mattel, Manager of Global Product Development at VTech, and Interactive Producer at Sesame Workshop. She has also collaborated with Hasbro, Spin Master, WowWee, and Gund to create play patterns, characters, and stories. Sara has developed content for hundreds of fun things to play with, including: robots, mechanized plush, interactive learning toys, and board games. She has written dialogue and song lyrics for over forty popular kids brands, from Dora the Explorer to Mickey Mouse to SpongeBob SquarePants.
Sara and her husband are the founders of Galactic Sneeze, a fun stuff think tank that invents toys and games. They published their first tabletop family game, Schmovie, in 2013. Their new adult party game, Spank the Yeti, was successfully crowdfunded on Kickstarter and released in late 2016. Both games are now available throughout the US and Canada.
Sara lives in Brooklyn with her husband, daughter, and goldfish.
